We all have a choice to believe in something, I choose to believe in God!

SUFFER THE CHILDREN TO COME UNTO ME

I listened to this little voice coming through the broadcast as he shares the experience he just had on his ranch at home and thought, 'he's a man of God to-be'. I was amazed that this child is already man enough to put an animal down that's suffering, but even more amazed that he had the fortitude to call into a radio station and share what God told him about it! Don't wear makeup when you listen to this!

One more thing, if this child can comprehend that talking to God will yield a reply, and understands the meaning of what that reply was, it should be relatively easy for us.

    1. Oh my goodness, Hi Drea, how have you been?!!! I thought you might have moved to Africa to take care of the children. I haven't forgotten you either Drea. Talk with you soon and good to see you back!

  2. Sadly I actually think it just gets harder for us as we get older to accept the Truth. The longer we resist I think the harder our heart gets. The more we think with our brain and less with our hearts. I hope this kid keeps with it, because he is headed in the right direction.

    1. You're like Logan, wiser than you think! He amazed me and I thought to myself, I'm going to come back to this post and listen to that little boy when I feel lost and confused and alone because he so believes in God's message that he didn't hesitate to share it. He was so sad, and honestly, I felt like this program didn't do the best job in showing a sense of compassion. I got the sense that religion played a role in that dj's reaction as he kind of sounded like an actor playing a role. I wanted to scream at him and say, "Don't you hear that child's heart breaking? Don't you understand his pain? Is that all you have to say?!" LOL...but I understand not every one reacts to children like I do and certainly the man may have had a reaction that suited this young man's level of maturity. Anyway, you're so right about us being jaded sis.

    2. Oh thank you sis! Maybe the DJ wasn't even saved. And maybe the child put him in conviction, and out of this call the DJ will feel a touch from God and turn from our selfish ways.
But I do have to say that I don't always react the way people expect me to react, but they can't see what's going on inside me.
But I think it had to touch the DJ's heart even if it took a while after the call.
If this boy keeps following hard after God he's going to be an amazing evangelist.

    3. Kelline, not every person react such ... emotional like you do.
I can understand the behaviour of the DJ. I think, I would have do it the same way ...
Hm, maybe the DJ was asked to react "professional" by his boss.

Oh, and I would like to ask you to allow me to transliterate and translate this video and send you a trackback (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trackback) if your blogging software supports it. Do you allow me to mention your post?
Otherwise I just mention you as person without linking.

    4. You saw the DJ somewhat the way I did, he was a little too professional. In my opinion, there comes a time to put down the coat and tie and the protocol and go with your basic sense of humanity...something I do as often as possible.

The video is on Youtube so there's no reason to connect me to it at all. You're welcome to copy and paste the comment below it with your own video version, if you so choose. If you link my blog to anything, I would ask you to not link in a public way which will bring trolls and haters. I don't have the time to sit around all day weeding though comments from people that hate the Lord. So, if you can tell me with any certainty that who you show the blog to is a Christian, you're welcome to link. If Atheists come, I need to be able to interact with them and try to explain faith to them if they're inclined to listen and I don't have that time right now.

    5. Hm, I searched a bit now and the only solution using HaloScan isn't supported any more :-/
So I would have to use a public link which you dislike.

I recognised, that the video is hosted on YouTube before ;-)

    7. How about that! I made a typo and had to delete the entire comment to get rid of that one typo. Ugh. I hate my OCD/perfectionism.

Okay, about the video, if you're just wanting to post the link along with a comment somewhere, as long as you're sharing it with other believers, that's fine. I have one concern. Trolls and hate-spewing Atheists. The point isn't to block out non-believers but rather to block out those who hate and want a forum to express their hate and issues. That's not why I created a blog. I don't even allow ads to show on this blog because I fear it will disrespect the Lord in some way. Do what you feel is best but in the event that this blog becomes over-run with people of that nature, I'll have to take steps to prevent their return. It's the reason I can't link my blog to my Google plus page. Right now, I haven't found any options for blocking one individual but rather setting the comments to only include those with other blogger accounts. It's a bit limited in that area...very frustrating. Do what you feel is best Andre, I trust you.

  3. That little boys voice the minute I heard it, and realized he was crying my eyes started to fill up. I was just thinking the other day that when certain thing's happen, especially death we get so confused and some people upset and we all ask the same question the little boy did, why? A scripture comes to mind when I think about things that God does and I can't figure out why on earth it happened. 2 Corinthians 4:8 "We are hard-pressed on every side yet not crushed, perplexed but not in despair.." that last part especially I think about, we may get perplexed sometimes but shouldn't despair. Like the little boy said God understands. That video was great. We are told to have faith like a child, this is a great example. Wonderful inspiring post Kelline.

    1. I was struck by his country boy accent too. He talks exactly like the men in his region. He's going to be great man someday. I'm glad he was inspired at this age because someone somewhere got a mega-boost from the Lord through this child.
