BEWARE OF THE CONVERSION

Well, hm, it's my understanding of other people's interactions with Jehovah's Witnesses that I might have to look forward to Mr. Ben returning frequently. I hear tell that he might try to convert me. Shameful, if true. Why? Because that's like walking into a church and going up to a congregant and saying, "you don't want to worship here, come with me and become a member of our congregation." And using manipulation to lure that person away from their current church or faith, to theirs.

Here's 2 reasons why it will never happen. Number one, I'm not leaving the bonds of religion to join a group of people that love the Lord but operate in their flesh. As I told Ben when he came last time, "Jehovah's Witnesses seem to believe that it's by their might and not by His Spirit that you have to live." He was confused by that statement. I picked up on the vibe. I said in more plain terminology, "you and your colleague seemed to come here the first time in the spirit of doing and not in the spirit of love." I said this with gentle respect, of course. They had an agenda, for sure.

Here's something else I noticed. This was subtle when he said it, but it spoke volumes to me. I asked him if they had any luck making connections on the mountain (where I live) with the other residents. To which he replied, "no, not really. Yours was the best 'door' we had all day." Hm, I thought. He referred to me as "the best door." That says to me that they do indeed see people on their trail as things to be done. I can't really explain my view much better than that.

Here's the 2nd reason I wouldn't become a Jehovah's Witness. They don't believe in the Trinity. It's in their book. They're argument is quite weak really. And I quote:

"Matthew 28:19 is usually cited to prove the doctrine. The text from the King James Version quotes Jesus: 'Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.' True, the Father, the Son, and the holy ghost (or spirit) are all mentioned in this text. However, nothing is said about their being one."

Are you serious? There's a lot of things about the world that's not written in scripture. This is one thing that is. The quoted scripture, "...in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost...," (and we capitalize it, Mr. Jehovah's Witness) is self-explanatory as it clearly states, "...in the name..," and then it includes the 3 persons that are included in "...the name."

Well, that's all I'll say for now, but stay tuned. My next post is going to reveal something that few have paid any attention to or noticed. It has revealed a mighty nugget of blessed reality as to who our Jesus is. I have school tonight. Gotta go get ready so I'll leave off here.

  1. You have a lovely blog that I applaud.

Jehovah's Witnesses proselytizing is a false Gospel. (Gal. 1:8)

Straight up doctrinal facts on Jehovah Witness.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses teach preach that Jesus had his return aka second coming October 1914,then they spin all sorts of doctrinal embellishments on that date with 1918 being their appointment by Jesus as sole heirs of this 1914 Kingdom coming.
They have infighting, crime and child abuse as bad as any church out there.
Have a deadly dogma prohibiting whole blood transfusion but use cow’s blood calling it *Hemopure*.

They teach only 144,000 go to heaven,on and on and on with made up man made dogmas……JW are a spin-off of the second adventist and have this in common with the SDA.

Jehovah’s Witnesses promotion of their Watchtower sect has the net effect of stumbling and turning people off to the real Gospel.
Jesus said: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte; and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves” (Matt 23:15)

    1. Hi Danny, and thank you for your opening compliment. I also thank you for enlightening me. I need to know what I'm up against here. I welcomed them the first time they came. I welcomed them to return. But then my friend Monica, (commenter alongside of you, herein) has warned me that they tried converting her mother. This is important for me to know. I can't have folks like this disrespecting my beliefs inside the walls of a Bible believing Christian home. If they believe there's no Trinity, they should be joining themselves to others of the same faith. But that's not going to be my stand. God bless you and I hope you return with more insight and enlightenment. You're always welcome.

  2. ue! a teaser! I'm excited. Hey did you ever get that e-mail I sent you a couple nights ago? My mother would tell them to get their eyes outta the magazine they read, and read the bible. She even had one of their bibles. they change scripture but if they would just read it they would be a little better off. she could even use their own bible against them. or should I say for them.

I keep reminding myself to email back and almost did tonight before school but then remembered I had to stop by somewhere before class and therefore, didn't get the time but I will leave here and go to my email page and do that right now. As always, good to hear from you and I thank you as well for words of enlightenment. I need to keep my eyes open.

  3. Hello there. Really great to see other Christian-based blogs on here! Sometimes its easy to feel like I'm yelling in the middle of a wind storm and my words and thoughts are being drowned out by the noise around. Seeing blogs like yours is a great encouragement to me.

I have also dealt with Jehovah's Witness members coming to my door. And while I also disagree with their doctrine and beliefs, I do wish that more Christians would engage in the communities around them as these do and try to spread the true Gospel of Jesus. Praying for you, Kelline and that God would continue to favor you and your influence! :)

    1. Hi "J," how's it going your way? I have to start my reply with a big hardy helping of THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!! I'm absolutely desperate for prayers in my life right now! You could quite possibly never know what that means to me! I'm surprised you haven't seen the many many Christian blogs that are our there. If you click "next blog" at the top of the page it usually keeps them in a kind of section and the next blog you click will be another Christian blog. I follow many. I hope you find more. Thank you for your kind words. I just want to glorify God and tell everyone what He does for my soul. I also want to share my beliefs. This posting is only the second time the Witnesses came. I believe in their stamina and desire, but some of their beliefs aren't my own. That's probably about the size of that. God bless you back "J." Hope you return and share insight and wisdom.
